Camp Trivera
Urban Camp and STEM Center
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Camp Trivera, an $8 million Urban Camp and STEM Center, is located on approximately 15 acres east of the Oklahoma City Zoo. The 25,000 square foot lodge provides a gathering space for Girl Scout campers and members of the community. The Great Hall comfortably seats 350 people and has an interior climbing wall. There are 60 bunk style beds and a sleeping porch with hammocks for overnight stays. The scouts can explore science concepts and perform experiments in the STEM science lab and a large room dedicated to arts and crafts promotes creativity. The project also includes a storm shelter, primitive campsites, a pool, an outdoor amphitheater and cooking pavilion. Campers can spend the night under the stars in one of the three treehouses. A zip-line over the lake links the camp to the Oklahoma City Zoo. The project was completed and opened in September of 2020.
