New School
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Positive Tomorrows is non-profit school that provides a quality education and stability to homeless children in Oklahoma City. The 41,000 square foot facility has classrooms for infants through 8th grade. The main entry opens to a colorful cafeteria where meals are served from the full service kitchen. Dedicated space for art and music, special education, and life skills allows for an enhanced curriculum. The library and outdoor learning spaces are a favorite with the students. The gym and playground, including a climbing wall, encourage the children to exercise and play. Offices for school staff and case managers allow the organization to serve the entire family and assist them in breaking the cycle of homelessness. The $10.5 million project was completed in November of 2019.
